About the MIT CIO Summit

The MIT CIO Summit is the premier CIO thought leadership meeting for companies engaged in cutting edge research at MIT. In our first two years, we were especially honored to have had some of the world's top CIOs participate in the Summit, including Brad Boston, the CIO of Cisco Systems, Douglas Busch, the CIO at Intel Corporation, Rick Devenuti, the CIO of Microsoft, Scott Griffin the CIO of Boeing Corporation, as well as many others. Keynote speakers in previous years have included Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web, and Cathy E. Minehan, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. A list of the 2003 MIT CIO Summit participants is available.

The objective of the MIT CIO Summit is to provide a unique forum for a select group of high-level executives to candidly exchange their ideas and insights and to learn the latest research findings from the MIT Sloan School. We expect a lively and informative discussion, with access to new research and best practices not available anywhere else.
