The
Center for eBusiness Annual Conference and eBusiness Awards
The theme
of the 2002 eBusiness Annual Conference will be Making eBusiness
Pay Off. It will begin on April 17th with eBusiness
Day@MIT, which will include a Research Workshop on Mobile
Commerce as well as concurrent sessions on Aggregation and Mobile
Financial Services and B2B in Supply Chain Management. Ann Livermore,
President of Hewlett Packard Services will be our opening keynote
speaker. The day will conclude with the 4th Annual eBusiness
Awards ceremony, followed by a reception and dinner.
On April
18th and continuing through the 19th we will convene a variety of
sessions, which will run in parallel throughout the day. These will
include topics such as The eMarketing Payoff and Supply-Chain Integration
and eBusiness Strategies. We are also pleased to have Vincent Barabba,
General Manager of Corporate Strategy for GM, and Tim Berners-Lee,
inventor of the World Wide Web as keynote speakers.
Also
on April 18, we will have a special summit for the CIO/CTOs of our
sponsor companies. Brad Boston, CIO of Cisco Systems, Douglas Busch,
CIO at Intel Corporation and Prof. Erik Brynjolfsson, will Co-chair
this event. Our objective is to provide a unique forum for a select
group of high-level executives to candidly exchange their ideas
and insights. At the end of the day, the CIOs will present some
of the key outcomes of the summit at a panel discussion for all
conference attendees. We expect a lively and informative discussion.
The Annual
Conference will be open to a broad set of executives from our sponsor
companies, as well as faculty and students from MIT. Last year over
200 executives attended the Annual Conference and over 400 attended
the eBusiness Awards.

you are not a sponsor of the Center for eBusiness@MIT, but are interested
