Description
Our newest Special Interest group is a diverse set of projects that take advantage of tools, methodologies and frameworks developed in other research and applied to the health care space.  We are not doctors or health care experts, but we view this as an advantage.  Our focus is on being a trusted, objective and independent player in what has become an industry in need of dramatic reform, but with tremendous resistance to change.  With the generous support of CSK, Liberty Mutual and internal funds, our current research includes the following projects:

• Using the POAS (Point Of Act System) for Driving Efficiencies in the Hospital Supply Chain
• Using POAS for a Systems Dynamics Analysis of Risk Reduction
• Information Worker Productivity Improvements from Electronic Document Systems in Claims Processing
• Trust and Customer Advocacy in Health Care
• Coolhunting and Coolfarming in the Pharmaceutical Sector

We are talking with several new corporate partners to grow this SIG.
